The 14-note layout builds upon the classic D Kurd scale by adding two low bass notes on the underside of the handpan. These deep grounding tones extend the instrument’s range and allow you to create richer, warmer patterns while maintaining the intuitive harmony that makes D Kurd so loved worldwide.

Every note is precisely tuned for a clean, resonant voice with a smooth sustain. The added bass notes introduce a new dimension to your playing — perfect for meditative soundscapes, relaxing flow-style improv, or rhythmic grooves that blend high melodies with deep, earthy tones. With notes on both sides, this model offers a beautifully immersive playing experience while still remaining beginner-friendly.

High-Quality Stainless Steel (1.1mm)

Crafted from high-hardness 1.1mm stainless steel, this handpan offers excellent tuning stability, a warm and balanced tone, and a smooth sustain that’s perfect for both gentle playing and rhythmic exploration. Stainless steel is naturally rust-resistant and low-maintenance, making it ideal for beginners and outdoor playing.

The colour and finish are created through heat treatment rather than paint or coating, ensuring that the sound remains pure, clean, and unaffected by decorative layers.

Choosing Between 432Hz and 440Hz

Both tunings sound beautiful — the difference is subtle and depends on how you plan to use the instrument.

• 440Hz — Concert Standard
The global tuning standard used by most musical instruments. Choose this if you want the most compatibility, plan to play with other musicians, or use backing tracks.

• 432Hz — Meditative Healing
A softer, calming tuning often chosen for meditation, yoga, sound healing, and solo playing. Its gentle resonance creates a soothing, relaxed atmosphere.
